A one-off gift is a single donation. A sponsorship keeps giving every month in someone’s name, and a printable gift card lets you tell them about it.

How does gifting a sponsorship work?

You choose a monthly sponsorship — from £30 a month — and add the recipient's name below. The money goes to World Animal Rescue Network’s general fund, and WARN emails you receipts, not a certificate. To give them something to open, print a free gift card from Charity Shop.

Gift sponsorship questions

What does the recipient of a gift sponsorship get?

A card from you. World Animal Rescue Network emails receipts to the person paying and does not send a certificate, and we cannot promise updates about a particular animal, because the money goes to WARN’s general fund. Make a free printable gift card with their name, your message and the species you chose.

How much does it cost to sponsor an animal as a gift?

Monthly sponsorships run from £30 a month for a rescue cat pod to £80 a month for a big cat sanctuary habitat, with kennels (£40), donkeys (£50), bears (£70) and elephants (£75) in between.

Can the sponsorship be cancelled or changed later?

Yes — sponsorships are managed by World Animal Rescue Network and can be changed or stopped at any time. Nothing locks the recipient in.
