What should I donate?
Where should this bag, sofa, kettle or fiver go?
Donate sellable clothes to a charity-shop till; worn dry fibre to a named clothing bank; furniture to free collectors after checking the fire label; electricals only to stores that PAT-test. Want Gift Aid on cash? Give to a registered charity, not this CIC. Want a present, or you only have money? Costed animal-rescue gifts start at £5.

Take them to a charity-shop till
Clean clothes, shoes or books
Clean, dry, sellable bags belong on a high-street rail during opening hours. Sign retail Gift Aid if you pay enough UK tax. Do not leave bags on the step overnight.

Ask before you use a clothing bank
Worn-out but dry textiles
A bank is overflow for dry fibre, not a skip. Wet, stained or filthy textiles cost disposal money. If a chain names the bank as theirs, use it; otherwise ask. Never hide rubbish under clothes.

Book a free collection, check the fire label
Furniture or a sofa
Small high-street shops cannot take sofas. British Heart Foundation, Sue Ryder, Age UK and Emmaus collect in most areas. Upholstery without its permanent fire-safety label will be refused.

Only stores that can safety-test
Electricals or white goods
Most high-street tills cannot PAT-test. British Heart Foundation and Emmaus run furniture and electrical stores that can. Oxfam’s public guidance refuses most mains electricals. Do not dump a kettle on the step.

Give to a registered charity, not this till
I want Gift Aid on a cash donation
World Animal Rescue Network is a community interest company and cannot claim Gift Aid. Retail Gift Aid on donated goods is a different scheme at a charity till. If Gift Aid is the requirement, use a registered charity.

I want a present for someone
Pick named animal care, add their name, pay. WARN emails a personalised certificate — nothing to post. Not a live animal and not Gift Aid eligible. Print it into a card if they need paper.

Fund named animal care here, or give to a charity you already trust
I only have money — no goods
This website takes money for costed rescue care, not bags of clothes. If you will only give where Gift Aid applies, give to a registered charity instead. Both can be honest; they are different tills.
This website does not take donated goods — no stockroom, no steamer. Physical bags belong at chains on the charity shops directory. Money gifts here go to World Animal Rescue Network CIC. Not Gift Aid eligible. Legal structure.
