Charity gift questions
What is a charity gift?
A charity gift is a donation given as a present: instead of an object, your money funds real work — here, costed animal rescue care — and the recipient gets a personalised e-certificate describing exactly what their gift did.
How much do charity gifts cost here?
From £5 to feed an orphaned hedgehog, up to £95 to satellite-tag a sea turtle's release, with monthly sponsorships from £30. Every price is the real cost of the care named.
What does the recipient actually receive?
A personalised e-certificate from World Animal Rescue Network naming them and the care funded in their name — emailed after payment, ready to forward or print.
Is Charity Shop a registered charity?
No — and we say so plainly. Donations are received by World Animal Rescue Network CIC, an asset-locked community interest company that directs funds to partner shelters. The about page states the exact legal structure.
