Monkeys: charity shop gifts
Rescue monkeys from the pet trade into troop life — gifts from £10.
Reviewed — prices checked with partner shelters
How does my donation help monkeys?
Your donation rescues monkeys kept as pets or performers: £10 feeds a rescued monkey for a week, £30 funds a vet check on arrival, and £45 sponsors a month in a companion troop — the social life every monkey needs.
Monkeys sold as pets live alone in cages; primates need troops. Rescue means a vet check, careful introductions, and finally life among their own kind. Nobody takes a monkey home; the till is the gift tags on this page.
Who should skip this: Skip this page if you wanted to rehome a monkey in the UK — that is the rescue directory, not a gift tag. Skip it if you need Gift Aid: World Animal Rescue Network is a CIC and cannot claim it. Nobody takes this animal home.
Can I take this monkey home?
No. These tags fund named care at partner shelters and sanctuaries. The animal stays there. If you want to adopt or foster in the UK, use the rescue directory and follow that organisation’s process. An animal charity gift is not a pet. Compare sponsor vs adopt.
Is a monkey gift Gift Aid eligible?
No. Donations are received by World Animal Rescue Network CIC. Community interest companies cannot claim Gift Aid, so you will never see a tick-box here. If Gift Aid is required, give to a registered charity instead. The gifts on this page support care without Gift Aid. See about.
What gifts help monkeys?
Pick a tag and we'll transfer you to World Animal Rescue Network's secure donation page with this gift already selected. Or sponsor a monkey monthly instead. Birthday and Christmas wrappers live on birthday gifts and Christmas gifts; choose the same care with a personal message.
Monkey rescue questions
How much does it cost to feed a rescued monkey for a week?
£10 covers a week of fruit, vegetables and forage for one rescued monkey. See all monkey rescue gifts.
Can I give a monkey rescue donation as a gift?
Yes. Every donation comes with a personalised e-certificate you can email or print, naming the person you are giving it for — popular for birthdays and gifts in memory. It is a charity gift, not a monkey you keep as a pet.
Can I take this monkey home?
No. Tags on the monkey gift page fund named care at partner shelters and sanctuaries. Rescued monkeys stay in troop care. They are not pets.
Is a monkey gift Gift Aid eligible?
No. Donations are received by World Animal Rescue Network CIC, which cannot claim Gift Aid. The gifts still fund care.
Can I sponsor a monkey every month?
Yes. £45 a month funds troop life or use monthly monkey sponsorship.
