Hedgehogs
Hand-rear hoglets and overwinter underweight hedgehogs — gifts from £5.
How does my donation help hedgehogs?
Partner wildlife hospitals hand-rear hundreds of orphaned hedgehogs a year. £5 feeds an orphaned hoglet, £10 keeps one warm on a heat pad, £15 funds an X-ray, and £25 overwinters an underweight hedgehog until spring release.
Orphaned and underweight hedgehogs arrive at rescues every autumn — too small to survive hibernation. Hand-feeding, warmth and a safe winter indoors mean they go back to the wild in spring.

Why do hedgehogs need overwintering?
Hedgehogs under roughly 600g cannot survive hibernation. Rescues keep them warm and fed indoors through winter — about £25 per hedgehog — then release them in spring.
