Where your sponsorship goes
Donations are received by World Animal Rescue Network, a community interest company with a statutory asset lock — no shareholders, no private gain — which is developing its grant-making: it assesses animal-welfare organisations before agreeing support and publishes grant records as they become available. What does a tiger habitat sponsorship include?
It is named after space, enrichment, feeding and care for one big cat for a month — a suggested £80. If you would rather give once, the “Feed a rescued tiger for a day” gift is £25.
Can rescued tigers be released?
No — captive-raised big cats lack hunting skills and fear of humans, so release would be fatal. Sanctuary care is the alternative that sponsorship is named after.
