Elephant sponsorship through Charity Shop is a monthly gift to WARN’s general fund, inspired by the care of elephants rescued from logging, tourism and captivity. The suggested amount is named after food, specialist foot care and veterinary attention — from £75/month, giftable in someone's name with a printable gift card.

Where your sponsorship goes
Donations are received by World Animal Rescue Network, a community interest company with a statutory asset lock — no shareholders, no private gain — which is developing its grant-making: it assesses animal-welfare organisations before agreeing support and publishes grant records as they become available. The about page states the exact legal structure; the amounts on this page are suggested donations, reviewed quarterly (last review 22 October 2026).

What does an elephant sponsorship pay for?
It is named after food (a rescued elephant can eat up to 150kg a day; the one-off “A day of sanctuary food” gift is £20), specialist foot care for damage done by working life, and routine veterinary checks. £75 a month is a suggested amount, not a sanctuary’s bill, and it goes to WARN’s general fund.
Can I gift an elephant sponsorship to someone?
Yes. Add their name when you review the gift, then make a printable gift card to hand over. You pay, and WARN emails the receipts to you; it does not send a certificate, and we cannot promise progress updates.
