How does cat sponsorship work?
Cat sponsorship through Charity Shop supports rescue cats at WARN partner shelters. £30 a month funds a clean, heated pod with bedding, food and daily care for one cat — with a personalised e-certificate, giftable in someone's name.
Your sponsorship tier
You'll complete the donation on World Animal Rescue Network's secure page — the monthly option and the recipient's name carry across.

Where your sponsorship goes
Donations are received by World Animal Rescue Network, a community interest company with a statutory asset lock — no shareholders, no private gain — which directs funds to its partner shelters and sanctuaries across Asia, Africa and South America. The about page states the exact legal structure; figures on this page are reviewed quarterly (last review 17 July 2026).

Cat sponsorship questions
What does a cat pod sponsorship cover?
A heated pod, clean bedding, food and daily care for one rescue cat — £30 a month. Vaccinations and neutering are separate costed gifts (£12 and £22) if you'd rather give one-off.
Can I sponsor a cat as a gift for someone?
Yes — the certificate and the updates go to the person you name. It is one of the most popular gifts for cat people.
