Donkey sponsorship through Charity Shop is a monthly gift to WARN’s general fund, inspired by the care of working donkeys and ponies retired after years of carrying loads. £50 a month is the suggested amount, named after stable shelter, daily feed, companionship and routine health care — giftable in someone's name with a printable card.

Where your sponsorship goes
Donations are received by World Animal Rescue Network, a community interest company with a statutory asset lock — no shareholders, no private gain — which is developing its grant-making: it assesses animal-welfare organisations before agreeing support and publishes grant records as they become available. It is named after shelter, daily feed, herd companionship and routine health care for one rescued donkey or pony — a suggested £50 a month. Farrier visits (£25) and dental checks (£35) can be given as one-off gifts too.
Why do donkeys need sanctuary?
Working donkeys carry bricks, water and loads for years, usually with overgrown hooves and untreated teeth. Sanctuary retires them to routine farriery, dentistry and a herd — a hard-working life finally done.
