How does seal sponsorship work?

Seal sponsorship through Charity Shop supports stranded seal pups at WARN partner coastal rescues. £60 a month funds rehabilitation pool care, feeding and weigh-ins as a pup grows to release weight — with a personalised e-certificate, giftable in someone's name.

You'll complete the donation on World Animal Rescue Network's secure page — the monthly option and the recipient's name carry across.

Seal sponsorship questions

What does a seal pup sponsorship include?

Pool care, feeding and weigh-ins for one pup heading back to sea — £60 a month. Rehabilitation typically takes two to four months; a week of fish (£15) can be given one-off.

Will my sponsored seal be released?

That is the whole point: pups are admitted underweight and dehydrated, fed up in rehab pools, and released back to the sea at full weight.
